RMA Procedure
Warranty Service
- The warranty period is 1 year from date of purchase.
- Warranty repair and replacement is handled by your Gtech vendor.
- If you bought your Gtech directly from Tesla Electronics, please contact us by phone for warranty service.
- If you did not buy your Gtech directly from Tesla Electronics, you must contact your vendor for warranty service.
- The following provisions are only applicable if you bought your Gtech from Tesla Electronics:
- To request warranty service or arrange for return, please contact us by phone. You will be issued an RMA number that authorizes the return. The RMA number must accompany the return - NO EXCEPTIONS. See below for more information on RMAs.
- You must be the original owner of the Gtech to obtain warranty service.
- Proof of purchase in the form of a dated invoice, receipt or packing slip is required for warranty service or returns. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Customers in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii:
- You will be responsible for freight/shipping when returning a unit for warranty service. Your shipment must be insured for the value of the product.
- Tesla Electronics will pay freight/shipping when returning the product to you. Tesla will choose any form of shipping it deems appropriate.
- Customers outside the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii:
- You will be responsible for freight/shipping when returning a unit for warranty service. Your shipment must be insured for the value of the product.
- You will be responsible for freight/shipping when we return the product to you. Tesla will ship your unit back via international UPS.
- When sending a unit back for repair/replacement, ONLY SEND BACK THE UNIT, do not send back any other materials such as cables, power supplies, boxes, manuals, etc... unless specifically asked to do so.
- We do our best to repair or replace your unit quickly. Please allow up to 10 business days for us to perform this service.
- As stated in your product’s user guide, the warranty does not cover abuse/misuse of the product.
- Tesla Electronics does not repair out-of-warranty units.
30-Day Money Back Guarantee
- Tesla Electronics provides a 30-day money back guarantee on the G-TECH/Pro Competition, RR and SS. This applies only to merchandise bought directly from Tesla Electronics. Other vendors have their own return policies. Tesla cannot issue refunds for merchandise that was purchased from another vendor.
- If you wish to return the unit for a refund, you must contact us within this 30-day period - NO EXCEPTIONS. The 30 day period begins on the product delivery date as provided by UPS shipment tracking information.
- When you contact us to obtain a refund, you will be issued an RMA number that must accompany the return - NO EXCEPTIONS. See below for more information on RMAs.
- Proof of purchase in the form of a dated invoice, receipt or packing slip is required for refunds - NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Customers will be responsible for freight/shipping when returning a unit for refund.
- Products with physical damage, or signs of abuse/tampering will not be credited for refund.
- When returning the unit, include all original packing materials, manuals cables and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.
- Returns for refund must include all original materials in like-new condition.
- Credit will be issued on original credit card used for purchase, unless other provisions are made ahead of time.
- Credit will generally be issued within 5 business days of date product was received at Tesla Electronics.
RMA Procedure
- All units returned to Tesla for any reason (warranty repair, refund, etc...) must have an authorized RMA number CLEARLY MARKED on the outside of the package.
- Merchandise received at Tesla without an RMA number marked clearly on the outside of the package will be rejected or returned to sender.
- In order to obtain an RMA number from Tesla Electronics, you must contact us by phone.
- RMAs will only be issued to customers who bought their unit directly from Tesla Electronics, Inc.
- After receiving an RMA number, please send your package to:

- RMA numbers are valid for 30 days from date of issuance.
- We strongly recommend that you insure and track any package sent to us; we cannot be responsible for merchandise that is damaged or lost in transit.
- You must include a copy of your invoice/proof of purchase in the package itself.
- Returns for warranty repair should only include the defective product unless otherwise specified. Tesla Electronics, Inc. cannot be responsible for return of any other materials included other than those covered by the RMA. This includes product box/packaging.
- Units may either be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Tesla Electronics.
- Replacements are processed based on product availability; a back order may delay shipping of a replacement unit.
- When calling to inquire about the status of your RMA, please have your RMA number handy.
- Tesla Electronics cannot process walk-in or will-call replacements / refunds / returns.
